my coincidences

Its funny how life is full of coincidence. I just started reading Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead, when the movie, that I never knew even existed, appears on Turner Classic Movies last night. Gary Cooper and Patricia Neal, in an old black and white movie. Hard to believe Ayn wrote the screen play for that.

The day after my dog died, I called up the Chinese restaurant down the street and ordered take out. I have ordered from this place for years. Same food, same people. I was running late to pick up the food, when I get a call on my cell. "Hi this is Lucy, from Green China, your food is ready" OK, first of all, they never call me, so if I had not been running late, and they had not called, I would never had heard the name of the new girl working at the resturant. Heck I don't now anyones name there. Second, they never hire new people, in the eight years I have been going there this is the first time I have seen a new face. And by now I'm sure you have guessed the name of my dog, right.

OK, I know neither one of these on their own proves the existence of any metaphysical being, or God, or Buddha , or whatever, but together..... Something is going on here, and I think I need to look into it further.
