What Day Is It?

Wow , it seems like such a long time since I wrote, but wasn't it just yesterday that I was sitting in Starbucks. slowly sipping the Venti and wondering why the bald headed guy was re-arranging all the furniture. Especially when I had just set it all up for the Mommy and Me group coming in at 10. People, this will go a lot smoother if you check with me first.

So, I shook my head and it's September, and I have been back in the cubicle for what feels like three months. It's actually not even a cubicle, I'm shoved in the corner of the room so all the pre-existing programmer's can easily point and laugh in my general direction. I'm not kidding.

Starting a new job can be so painful. I'm not good at projecting myself, so I tend to take a lot of crap. And it amazes me how much people like handing out crap. But the experience is still refreshing. It is wonderful to have a whole new set of painful experiences to savor. Not the same old pain, but new fresh and exciting pain. Imagine if someone was punching you in the exact same spot on your arm for 5 years. Wouldn't you be dying for a good knock on the head. It would be almost.... refreshing....
