Here's An Idea

What is it that most people love? Unless you are a freakaziod, serial killer, hate your momma, nut job, you just love puppies. Who could not love a puppy? Cute, cuddly, soft, and oh so furry, they are enchanting to be around and full of fun and goodness. Now that we all agree, what else is it that most people love? Give up. No not kittens, granted they too are adorable, and some may even favor a good kitten over a delightful puppy, but I had something more editable in mind. PANCAKES!!

So what if we open a restaurant and call it Puppies and Pancakes. Part of the restaurant would be a pen full of puppies. Once you place your order, and you are waiting for your delicious pancakes, you are free to go play with the puppies. Just dive right into that puppy pen and roll around in them. Let them nibble on your ears, lick your nose and pounce on your empty belly. For soon, very soon that belly will be full of delicious, warm, and covered in syrup pancakes. Two of the best things this world has to offer, at the same time.

Of course Melanie, as delightful as a puppy herself, was quick to remind me of the health implications of people handling animals, and them rushing to the table to devour, what would be the most wonderful maple syrup covered hotcakes {Homer: Mmmmmm paaankcaakes}. But I solved that problem by proposing a little bottle of hand sanitizer on each table. And of course we would wash the puppies once in a while. But no going back into the pen, after pancakes, the puppies would get syrup all over them. And that would just be gross.
